Top Taco 2023
Each year, some of New Orleans’ best restaurants, taquerias, and bars head to Top Taco to battle it out for the title of Top Taco Champion while festgoers reap the rewards of their labor.
In addition to the unlimited taco and tequila tastings from some of your favorite eateries across the Crescent City, Top Taco also features live music performances, special guest appearances, interactive activities, and more.
The annual Top Taco festival takes place Thursday, Oct. 26 at Lafreniere Park. entertainment.
The big addition to this year’s event is a BBQ demonstration and taco competition on the islands in the VIP area curated by World-BBQ Champion James Cruse and emceed by popular Mississippi restaurateur Brad Orrison of The Shed. Eight of the best barbecue joints in the city will battle it out for bragging rights and NOLA Boards awards.
Top Taco Tickets
General Admission – $85
Includes unlimited taco and tequila tastings, soft drinks, cocktails, bar and water, access to live music performances, and a standard entry time of 7 p.m.
First Tasting Ticket – $105
Includes unlimited taco and tequila tastings, soft drinks, cocktails, bar and water, access to live music performances, plus an early entry time of 6 p.m. to jumpstart your tastings.
VIP Ticket – $135
Includes everything featured in the First Tasting Package plus access to the VIP Lounge, which includes exclusive tacos and cocktails by top chefs and mixologists, private bathrooms, and plenty of seating.
